The aim of this qualification is to contribute to specialist knowledge, skills and strategic planning of the service you manage. Its purpose is to consolidate your knowledge of the national minimum standards, the codes of practice and legislation that underpins the health and social care sector.
This qualification will suit you if you are responsible for running a facility that provides services for vulnerable children, adults or both. You might be an assistant or deputy manager, or a manager who has not yet achieved a recognised vocational qualification at this level.
