The aim of this qualification is to contribute to the skills, knowledge and overall performance of the health and social care worker. Its purpose is to underpin the experience and skills of the care worker and aid career progression.

If you're already working in care, this can assist you to increase your skills and knowledge and take on more responsibility; this is an excellent qualification to support this career progression. It has three specific pathway routes; Generic, Learning Disabilities or Dementia.
